Chrissy Teigen Posts Photo Of Baby Miles, Tells Fans She's 'All For Talking About IVF'

Chrissy Teigen gives fans a look at her son Miles in her recent social media post, where she answers questions about IVF and tells fans that the topic is not taboo for her.

All For IVF

Teigen has been very open about her struggles with getting pregnant and admitted that she resorted to IVF to conceive. So it is no surprise that the model did not get offended when a fan asked her about her son's birth.

In a recent Instagram post, the Cravings author did not dodge questions about her second pregnancy. A fan openly asked whether baby Miles was also conceived via IVF just like her firstborn, daughter Luna.

"Yep, he was on ice a smidge longer. Science and the human body are beautiful," Teigen replied.

Another fan wondered whether the mom-of-two was offended by the line of questioning, to which Teigen said no. Instead, she clarified that talking about IVF is not taboo for her and that she wants to share her experience with it to inspire people.

"I wasn't offended by it - people are just curious and I think hearing success stories gives people hope. I'm all about talking about IVF," she wrote along with a heart emoji.

The topic of IVF was brought up after Teigen shared a photo of her one-month-old son Miles on Instagram. The snap shows the adorable baby looking snug and comfortable lying on a giraffe-printed blanket with his arms and legs stretched out.

"Hey dudes," the 32-year old simply captioned the shot.

The post has since received over 1 million likes and over 11, 000 comments from fans who gushed over the baby. Others pointed out Mile's resemblance to his mother, while some to his father, musician John Legend.

"Heaven in those eyes," one fan wrote.

"What a doll," another commented.

Road To Motherhood

The Sports Illustrated model has not been shy about sharing her struggles to conceive with the public. She admitted in previous interviews that she and Legend agreed to do the IVF after years of trying to get pregnant.

Teigen talked about her IVF experience in an interview after Luna's birth and while pregnant with Miles. She said that their first try was devastating because it did not work, but she and Legend did not lose hope. They tried again and thankfully she got pregnant. The model called it a miracle that she was able to conceive through IVF.
