Baby No.1 on the Way for Jaime King and Kyle Newman

Jaime King is going to be a mom. The actress broke the happy news on Twitter.

"Getting ready for another baby to be squeezed into this picture," she wrote, while posing with her husband, director Kyle Newman and two dogs.

Fans and well-wishers of the 34-year-old came forward to congratulate King and provide their support. "Happy Day! That's the best news! Congratulations to you and Kyle!!!" one of the followers wrote.

This is the first child of the couple, who has been married for the last five years. The couple, who first met during the shooting of "Fanboys" in 2005, moved in together after dating for three months and tied the knot in November 2007.

During a chat with the magazine In style in 2007, the couple opened up about their marriage and baby plans.

"I really think we meet the right guy when we are ready," People magazine quoted King telling In Style.

"I didn't have to stop and wonder whether it made sense because it didn't feel like a big choice," Newman added. "Sometimes, things go slow and nowhere. Sometimes they move fast, and it feels like you are picking up where you left off, even though you've never met."

More baby news can be expected from the couple in the future, as they had earlier revealed their plans to have a big family.

"I want at least three children," she added to In Style, according to People.

King, who entered into the world of modeling at the age of 14, shot to fame with her role in the 2001 film "Pearl Harbor" and later with the 2003 film "Bulletproof Monk." At present, she appears in The CW Television Network's TV series "Hart of Dixie".
