Kanye West On Raising Kids: Admits Worry Over Raising Kids In The Public Eye, 'I Just Love My Family'

According to People, rapper and proud father Kanye West said that his life has never been the same since he became a father. Married to famous star Kim Kardashian and being famous himself, West admits that he has worries in raising his kids while in the public eye.

“Do I worry about being in the public eye and raising kids? Yeah,” West said in an interview for SHOWstudio’s In Camera.

“Any situation you’re in, you’re going to worry about raising your kids,” he adds. “It’s champagne problems. There’s people who can’t feed their kids.”

He also said that being a father has changed the way he thinks, including his schedules, and his own music.

“Having a family, period, has completely made me rethink the way I rap,” he said. “I just love my family.”

His daughter, North, has evidently turned him into a softie. In June, People reported that West scheduled all his meetings in England around his daughter.

“While [North’s] here in Europe, I have to have six hours a day with her because otherwise I’ll just work and she’ll get scheduled around meetings,” he said. “Instead, the meetings get scheduled around her.”

Now, West and wife Kim are expecting a second child. According to Entertainment Online, they are expecting a boy to be born to them via C-section on Christmas Day.

Although he admitted that they don't have a name for the unborn boy just yet, he hopes for the best for their son.

“I don’t have a name for him, but what I hope for him is that he can feel purpose,” he said. “That he can learn, that he has the opportunities.”

The 38-year-old rapper (and 2020 presidential candidate) also believes that Kim's reality show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, deserves to get more love and credit, and should be given Emmy awards.

"My wife and my family should've had plenty of Emmys by now," said West.

Seems that Kanye West is very happy with his family life.

“[I’m] so, so, so, so happy,” he said. “And I’m happy for the normal reasons to be happy. Because I married the woman of my dreams and I have a beautiful daughter and so many beautiful people around me … I have a son on the way.”
