'My Children are My Priority,' Says Nell McAndrew

Model and TV personality Nell McAndrew revealed in an interview that she put her fitness regime on hold following the birth of her second child, a daughter, in March.

In an interview to the entertainment magazine Hello!, the 39-year-old fitness follower stated that she was in no hurry to "cram an intense exercise programme into my days."

"My children are my priority and I'll fit in exercise as and when I can,' she said.

During her second pregnancy, McAndrew continued her normal fitness regime because of which she got into shape early post-delivery. "I am pretty much back in shape, but still have roundness to my tummy and more thread veins," she told Hello!

Talking about her elder son, McAndrew said that Devon is getting adjusted to his younger sibling. "The day after she was born I took her to show and tell at Devon's school. While I was there he rested his arm on my shoulder and I could tell he was really proud. He's been so good and really patient with me because I can't do things so quickly with him if Anya needs me. I know he'll be very protective of her. He's been much better than we thought."

Her daughter, Anya, has become the centre of attraction in the family. McAndrew revealed that the little bundle of joy smiles now. "...it is so lovely. Every day she changes," said the proud mother.

At the time of her second pregnancy, which she revealed last October, McAndrew was flooded with queries from people asking whether she jogged six miles a day or hit the gym twice a week. She explained, "A lot of people say to me "Should you be doing that?" They're concerned, but there's no need because my body is used to doing a lot of exercise. To me it doesn't feel very much because I used to run 90 miles a week - twice what I do now."
