Mandy Moore: Ex-Husband Should Pay Spousal, Pet Care Support

Divorce in Hollywood is unsurprisingly common, especially with all the media attention the celebrities get when they go through such process. One of the popular couples who fell to the "Hollywood curse" of divorce this year is singer-actress Mandy Moore and husband Ryan Adams.

The "A Walk To Remember" actress filed for divorce earlier this year. However, she recently appealed to the court and demanded spousal support for her and their two dogs and six cats.

In the court documents, Mandy stated that her singer-songwriter husband, Adams, failed to provide spousal support despite making $151,000 per month. A report gathered by TMZ stated that the "Cry" songstress reportedly makes $40,000 a month, which is just a quarter of what her husband gets.

According to the news outlet, Mandy is asking for $37,000 spousal support every month until they reach an agreement through the divorce terms.

Aside from the spousal support, Mandy, who started her singing career in the late 90's, insisted that Adams should get four of their eight pets as soon as possible.

She claimed that Adams did not fulfill his promise to take the two cats from her and added that she has been taking care of all the pets on her own since they broke up. The couple announced their split in January of this year.

Mandy mentioned that she loves all their pets, but taking care of all eight of them would be too much to handle. People revealed that there were situations where in the star had to cancel work appointments because nobody stays with their pets while she is away.

"Without Ryan's help caring for the house and our pets, I have not been able to work as much as I would like," Mandy added.

The relationship of Mandy and Adams has gotten media attention after they announced their split earlier this year. Close friends of the two claimed that they did not know the couple was having some problems keeping up the relationship because they always appear to be happy when they are together.

People shared that the couple rarely speaks about their relationship with the media even before the two were still together. They even refused to answer questions about their marriage, which was evident to the interview Adams once had. "I'm a private person and I'll be a gentleman and say I'm not talking about my marriage ever. I'll never talk about it. Ever," he stated.
