Roberto Cavalli Criticizes Kate Middleton’s Fashion Sense

After condemning Adele's post-pregnancy weight, Italian fashion designer Roberto Cavalli has targeted his gaze on the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton for her dressing style.

According to Cavalli, Kate does not dress in a sexy way. In an interview with Vogue UK, the famous designer criticized the Duchess' fashion sense. "A princess should be sexy," he said.  "She is young, she is beautiful-I would like to create something special for her, but nothing too bold. I would like to prove to the world that Roberto Cavalli can dress a princess. Maybe I would use a print, keeping it young, sophisticated and sexy. Just because you are a queen or princess it doesn't mean you can't be sexy."

Cavalli is known to be a  lover of animal prints and sexy styles. He has dressed some beautiful and famous personalities with his gorgeous attires. But one doubts whether his sexy style would actually suit the pregnant Duchess of Cambridge, keeping in mind how the royals are a little conservative in their choice of attire.

However, Cavalli's not the only one who has criticized Kate for her simple dressing style. Author Joan Alison Smith called Kate's dressing style as "bland" and Booker-prize winning author Hilary Mantel called the beautiful duchess "machine-made."

Whatever people may say, Kate has her own set of loyal fans, which follow her each and every style. Most of the dresses worn by Kate are sold within hours in the stores and online. She was recently voted as the UK's most influential person.
