Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi Talks About Getting Fit Post Pregnancy On 'Snooki and JWoww'

Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi became a mom to baby Lorenzo nearly 11 months ago, and since then, her main focus has been on getting fit, according to PEOPLE.

The star of "Snooki & JWoww," showed off the results of her new fitness regimen on Tuesday.

"I work out in the gym seven days a week. I go with my trainer five days a week, I have a treadmill downstairs or I do crunches. I try to do something at least once a day," Polizzi told PEOPLE at SELF Rocks The Summer Party in Manhattan.

Polizzi and fiancé Jionni LaValle's baby boy turns one next month. And while rumors swirled that the star had an eating disorder, Polizzi credits her fit frame to her hard work. She formally battled with anorexia.

"Everyone's saying the 'new fit me' isn't what I'm suppose to look what. I wasn't always a fata** kids. Get used to my fitlife, cause I love IT," Polizzi tweeted, addressing the public's concern.

"I eat chicken, I eat salads, I eat vegetables, I just eat healthy and one day a week, I have my ice cream and my chips - but then the next day I go even harder at the gym. So I still live life but a healthier life," Polizzi told HollywoodLife.com in April.

The former MTV "Jersey Shore" star is no longer the crazy party girl featured on the reality show.

"It's a part of my life - being fit is [a priority,]" she said. "First was partying, now it's my son and working out."

According to the Washington Post, Polizzi took the time to pen a letter of advice to Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, on her newborn expected to be delivered any day now.

"In the beginning, right when you take your royal golden nugget home to the castle is the most exciting experience of your life," she wrote. "I couldn't wait to wake up in the middle of the night to take care of my little prince Lorenzo. But that lasts for about a few days. Then it's like, 'I love you but OMG stop crying! I'm exhausted.'"
