Kourtney Kardashian Continues to Shoot Down Mason Paternity Rumors: What is She Hiding? [PHOTO]

Kourtney Kardashin has been handed a paternity suit by a sexy male she hooked up with nine months before her first born, Mason, was born. Michael Girgenti claims he is the father and wants custody of the child, and a new report showed this isn't the first time this case has come up.

According to RadarOnline, Girgenti wrote a letter to Kourtney Kardashian which is dated April 23. In it, he asks the reality star submit the three-year-old boy to a DNA test to confirm he is the father. Kourtney's long-term and live-in boyfriend, Scott Disick, was also thought to be the father and continues to be until any evidence suggests otherwise.

"My attentions [sic] are not to hurt the family you've created with Scott [Disick]," wrote Girgenti, who last week filed paperwork in a Los Angeles court asking for joint custody of Mason Dash Disick. "But at the same time, Mason deserves to know the truth."

In an exclusive interview with Star magazine, Michael explained his intentions behind the letter.

"This is Kourtney's last chance," he said, earlier this year. "My next step will be to take her to court and sue her for a paternity test. I'm tired of not knowing if Mason is my child and I want the constant wondering to end.

Kourtney, 34, shot down Girgenti's request, prompting him to now file a lawsuit against her to get the paternity test done.

Girgenti, 26, said they he had unprotected sex with the reality star, who is currently rumored to be pregnant with baby number 3, back in March 2009. Kourtney told him that her and Scott Disick were "on the outs" and "she wanted to hang."  Mason was born December 14, 2009.

In response, Kourtney's lawyers are denouncing on the whole story, with attorney Shawn Chapman Holley reportedly sending a letter to Girgenti painting his claims as "false and defamatory."

Kourtney's other attorney Todd Wilson telling TMZ plainly that Disick is Mason's father, and alleging Girgenti "has been selling false and fabricated stories to the tabloids for years."

Some suggest if she is confident Scott is Mason's father, she should have the paternity test to put the rumors to rest. Kourtney and Scott Disick welcomed a baby girl, Penelope, last year. Her younger sister, Kim Kardashian is also in baby heaven after giving birth to her first born girl, North West, with boyfriend Kanye West.
