Top 3 Valentine's Day Ideas That Would Spice Up Your Relationship

It is officially the month of love and couples are all looking forward to Valentine's Day. But most couples are stuck doing the cliché of going out to an expensive restaurant for dinner or buying flowers for their special someone. This is why Parent Herald has thought of giving everyone out of the box ideas to spend Valentine's Day different from the usual as it would even help in spicing up the relationship.

1.    Channel your inner Shakespeare: If you haven't written a poem before, this is the perfect time to do it and give it to your partner. It could be pure poetry or a song you have personally written. But if you really can't write your own piece, you can always borrow from the many poets out there and showcase it in front of your loved one during a poetry night. There is one on February 10 at the Cantab Lounge in Boston.

2.    Celebrate the night by attending a classic wine expo: Wine should be a part of this celebration of love anyway and it is better to do it in an expo with some wine tasting involved. Come to the Boston Wine Expo and bring your partner with you on February 12. This event has a lot of guests in the industry of winery and fine dining. It doesn't have to be in Boston, if there is a local one near you, it is best to also pay that place a visit.

3.    Go to a comedy bar: Most couples would probably dance the night away in loud clubs and music bars, but it is good to experience some good old comedy from a stand up a comedian in your town. Take your special someone to a comedy bar and laugh the night away.

Instead of doing the conventional Valentine's Day dinner, it is best to go with one of these three. Any of these ideas could set the mood and give couples a really good time.
