Pregnancy No. 5: Kim Zolciak Expecting Twins

Kim Zolciak will soon be a mommy of six children.

The reality TV star who announced her fifth pregnancy in June, confirmed Monday that she is expecting twins.

The 35-year-old star of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" fame broke the news live on E! News.

"I'm having twins and I couldn't be more excited. I was completely shocked. I had no idea. It was a natural conception, but twins do run in the family, so I guess I shouldn't have been surprised," she told E! News. "I can't believe I am going to be a mom to six children. It's going to be very busy but it's a dream come true."

Hours prior to the announcement, the mom-to-be had given a hint about the upcoming surprise on Twitter.

"Tune into E! News tonight at 7pm and 1130pm for a VERY exciting and personal announcement!!! Xxoo" she wrote.

Zolciak met Atlanta Falcons player, Kroy Biermann at the charity event "Dancing with Atlanta Stars" in May 2010 and the two tied the knot in 2011.

The new arrivals will be joining Zolciak's older children with Biermann- son Kroy Jagger Biermann Jr. (2), Kash (1) and Zolciak's two daughters from an ex-relationship-Brielle (16) and Ariana (12).

Zolciak confirmed her fifth pregnancy even before completing a year of giving birth to her fourth child. She broke the news on the June 25 episode of her Bravo show "Don't Be Tardy."

"Pregnant, pregnant, pregnant, pregnant, pregnant, pregnant," Us Weekly quoted Zolciak, as saying. "Kroy, we have not one negative test."

"It must be the athlete sperm," she added.

Gender of the babies is yet to be revealed. However, Zolciak had earlier expressed her wish to have a daughter with Kroy.

"We'd like a little girl," Kim, during a doctor's visit on her show, revealed, according to People magazine.
