'Friends' Cast Reunite For James Burrows NBC Special, But Where Is Matthew Perry?

According to BBC, Matthew Perry - known for his role as Chandler Bing - couldn't attend the show because of rehearsals for his West End play. However, he did pre-record an introduction for his "Friends" co-stars.

Five of the "Friends" cast members sat on the sofa and reminisced about their time together both on and off-screen with the night's host, Andy Cohen.

Courtney Cox revealed that she, along with Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow, always ate lunch together for the ten years they worked on the show together. In fact, they ate the same salad Jen prepared for them every single day.

The cast also said that they were good friends in real life, too. "We really wanted to connect [outside of the studio]," said Lisa Kudrow.

"At the beginning it was not a hard thing, we really just wanted to hang out with each other, it was not 'ugh we have to do this'," said Jennifer Aniston. "We just really fell in love and adored each other instantly and would hang out at each others' houses and watch the show together."

Aniston also added, "We experienced friendship, family, heartbreak, babies, everything together. And we also had a wonderful experience with the world loving us as well."

At one point during the tribute, Aniston had to hold back tears because she "always loved when we would have the flashbacks. I always loved when we would flashback to Fat Monica and Rachel Pre-Nosejob and Ross with his Afro."

Courtney Cox, on the other hand, said she enjoyed the sitcom's blackout episode, which featured Matthew Perry's character getting "stuck in an ATM vestibule with Jill Goodacre" and David Schwimmer's character being tormented by a "feral cat," as per People.
