Kelly Clarkson's Last Performance On American Idol Has Left Everyone In Tears [Watch!]

Grammy awardee Kelly Clarkson came back on the "American Idol" stage on Feb. 25 performing an emotional song that brought so many people to tears including Idol judges Keith Urban and Jennifer Lopez. Clarkson's song "Piece By Piece" revealed so much of how her father has abandoned her when she was a child.

Hollywood Life reported the emotional performance that Clarkson did on the last season of American Idol and everyone was just stunned on how she poured out her heart while singing it live. She was pausing every now and then in the middle of it because tears just can't help but fall down and she was even surprised that she was able to finish the song without completely messing it up due to her crying.

The judges Keith Urban was seen so many times by the camera just crying and Jennifer Lopez trying to hold her tears while the first American Idol winner was in her zone rendering such an emotional song. But her childhood and her dad abandoning her are not the only reason that brought her to tears. There are a lot of reasons actually like the fact that she is in the middle of her pregnancy according to The Guardian and since it is the last season of Idol, it just brought her a lot of memories from being there when the show first started.

After her performance, she told Ryan Seacrest, "so nostalgic and I can't believe it's the last season." From being a small town girl in Texas to now an internationally known singer, the show has indeed made Kelly Clarkson a household name that she is today.

Going back to her song being about her dad, a lot have assumed that she is still holding a grudge on her father from abandoning her when she was 6 years old. But in an interview with Glamour Magazine, the singer actually said that the song is more about forgiveness than revenge.

"It's a positive song, even though I know it sounds sad. I don't know what my father went through as a child, and I don't know why he left and made the decisions he made, but everyone's human," Clarkson explained.
