Plastic Surgery: Study Reveals Butt Implants Are The New Breast Implants; Which Stars Got Buttocks Surgery?

Demand for butt implants and buttocks lifts or surgery is on the rise in the United States, and there has been a 252 percent increase for buttock lifts done among plastic surgery clients from 2000 to 2015. The American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) revealed the numbers in its latest report.

"While more traditional facial procedures and breast augmentations are still among the most popular, we're seeing much more diversity in the areas of the body patients are choosing to address," ASPS president Dr. David H. Song said in a press release. "Patients have more options than ever, and working closely with their surgeon, they're able to focus on specific target areas of the body to achieve the look they desire."

The ASPS cites that from 1,356 butt lifts performed in 2000, the number has risen to 4,767 butt lifts done in 2015. It is indicative of the changing views about certain body standards among women, Mic cites. Below is a list of stars experts said got buttocks surgery:

1) Kris Jenner

Dr. Susan Evans of Beverly Hills notes that the reality TV star mom underwent a Brazilian butt lift to improve her behind. "It appears to be a fat transplant, where you liposuction the fat and reinsert it into the buttock," the plastic surgeon told Radar Online.

2) Kim Zolciak

While the star of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" said she uses waist trainers to lift her butt, plastic surgeon Tony Youn believes otherwise. "This is done by liposucting fat from the hips or thighs and then re-injecting it into the buttocks," he said in another Radar Online story.

3) Kim Kardashian

Whether she had her buttocks done or not continues to be a debate, but Dr. Tabasum Mir from New York believes she did have one based on its appearance. "She looks fantastic, but everybody needs to understand it's not natural because everyone wants those tiny waists and the big backsides and it's not from squats everybody," said Mir via Hollywood Life.
