Jamie Dornan to Replace Charlie Hunnum as Christian Grey in ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’

Here is the final cast of the much anticipated movie, 'Fifty Shades of Grey': Irishman Jamie Dornan will play Christian Grey and Dakota Johnson will remain Anastasia Steele.

After British actor Charlie Hunnam walked out of the movie, the film officials found Jamie best suited for the role of the hot lead character of the erotic novel.

According to Variety, 31-year-old Jamie is best known for his roles in the ABC series 'Once Upon a Time,' and BBC crime drama 'The Fall.' He also starred in Sofia Coppola's 'Marie Antoinette.' He is married to English musician Amelia Warner.

Readers and fans of EL James' erotic novel 'Fifty Shades of Grey' demanded a recast for the roles of the lead characters after Charlie and Dakota were announced 'Christian and Anastasia'. Earlier this week, after Charlie's departure, the production house was deciding on a new and fresh face for the role.

"I feel like everyone has an idea of what these characters look like and sound like, so to present the world with fresh faces -- where no pre-conceived notions or baggage come with it -- is best," he said. "It's like casting Superman or James Bond. A fresh face is appropriate," producer Mike De Luca told the Los Angeles Times.

Recently, Charlie made his first public appearance since he left 'Fifty Shades of Grey'.

"I have had some family stuff going on so just trying to stay focused and stay positive and keep trying to do a good job at work and be with my family," he said.
