"Prison Break" Season 5 spoilers hint that there will be a love triangle brewing for fan-favorite couple, Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) and Dr. Sara Tancredi (Sarah Wayne Callies).

As the "Prison Break" revival will be having a five-year time jump, many fans were wondering as to how Michael made it out alive after seemingly dying by the end of Season 4. It turns out, however, that his return from the dead will be a part of a major plot twist and it may even complicate things for Sara and her new husband.

Den of Geek reported on the official synopsis for "Prison Break" Season 5, which reads: "In the drama's new chapter, which picks up after Michael's apparent death, Sara has moved on with her life, raising her and Michael's child with her new husband."

The official synopsis also revealed that Sara was not aware of the fact that Michael is still alive and when she finds out about it, she works together with Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell) to plan what they call as the "biggest escape ever" done in "Prison Break."

How will Michael react when he finds out that his one true love and his child are already with another man?

Meanwhile, other "Prison Break" revival casting news from ScreenCrush revealed that Amaury Nolasco is set to return in Season 5 as Fernando Sucre.

Nolasco confirmed the news via an Instagram post.

"Prison Break" Season 5 begins production in April and the 10-episode event series is expected to air in late 2016.
