"Prison Break" Season 5 spoilers hint that the series will have a tragic ending. According to The Liberal, several reports claim that Sara tragically dies the moment Michael regains his memory.

As most fans and viewers know, Michael seemed to die at the end of Season 4, but the "Prison Break" revival will shed answers as to how Wentworth Miller's character was able to return from the dead. Not only that, several reports claim that Michael will be suffering from amnesia.

This answers why Sara Tancredi (Sarah Wayne Callies) and Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell) were not aware that Michael was still alive. "Prison Break" Season 5 spoilers also hint that the Fox series has already cast the role of Michael and Sara's older son, who will reportedly play an important role in recovering Michael's memories.

Meanwhile, Dominic Purcell recently revealed to Express that he and Miller were the ones behind the "Prison Break" revival.

"Wentworth and I decided, 'Why not revisit Prison Break?' - and so we went to the studio and they were excited about the idea and here we are," he said.

Purcell shared that Fox did not immediately approve of the idea of doing the "Prison Break" revival because Miller was "kind of semi-retired from the business." However, the network began to be interested in the idea when Miller decided to be out on TV once again.

"Prison Break" Season 5 is expected to be released in September on Fox.
