'Teen Mom OG' News Update: Amber Portwood's, Fiance, Matt Baier Using Teen Mom Checks To Pay Child Support

After Matt Baier paternity scandal emerged, news broke out that he's been doing his best to pay for child support. News sources claim that Matt Bair is using his checks from "Teen Mom OG" earning to pay child support.

"Teen Mom OG's" Amber Portwood's fiancé is doing his best to make end meet to pay off his child support, The Hollywood Gossip reported. His fines are stacking up as his offspring's continually increase. It was previously reported that he only has eight children with 6 baby mamas, but the seventh emerged with his ninth child.

Though Matt Baier was only featured a few times on "Teen Mom OG," it was reported that he will soon be joining the series as an official cast member. Though it may seem appropriate that Matt Baier will be using his "Teen Mom OG" pay check for child support, it was noted that it wasn't his idea.

As per The Ashley Reality Roundup, Matt Baier will only be receiving less than half of his pay check. It was mentioned that 65 percent of his pay check will automatically be deducted and given to child support.

"They are withholding 65 percent of his checks and dividing it up among the moms, from what I have heard," said one of his baby mamas.

It's been established that Matt Baier does have nine kids, but he's only paying child support for seven children. Despite his loses, one of his baby mama stated that he has to pay child support until the kids would reach 18.

"Matt is trying to come up with an amount for everyone to be comfortable with," one baby mama said. "[Matt and his lawyer] approached the Department of Revenue about it, but the DOR feels that it's a minor child that needs weekly upkeep. They won't allow them to do that for [a minor]. If he owes for the older kids, he can approach and settle. But for a minor child, like mine, they won't allow that to happen."
