Charlize Theron News & Update: 'Mad Max: Fury Road' Actress To Star In New Film About Parenting; Possible To Play Antagonist In 'Fast & Furious 8' Film?

There has been an onslaught of films regarding parenthood in Hollywood nowadays. One of the most recent and very successful movie that takes "parenting" on a subject was the movie "Boyhood" and there was also another critically acclaimed movie that was a dark comedy called "Young Adult."

Now, the creative team behind "Young Adult" will once again collaborate with actress Charlize Theron who starred in the 2011 film, "Young Adult." This time, they will take on the subject of parenting.

Despite "Young Adult" receiving a lukewarm response from movie goers, which failed to resonate with the Oscar committee, numerous reviews were positive for "Young Adult" as well as Charlize Theron. One review by the New York Times by writer AO Scott says, "Young Adult is brilliant, brave and breathtakingly cynical", while Roger Ebert praised the movie, saying that it was a "fearless character study."

Meanwhile, there has been no word as to when the film will start its production and all the fans know is that it will be a movie about parenting. Charlize Theron has been on the roll!

The Oscar awardee gathered high praises on her portrayal of a woman fighter in the very successful movie "Mad Max." In fact, she will also appear in the prequel of the move "Snow White," wherein she will play the antagonist and it will be released this week.

Charlize Theron has a line of movies for production this year. O e of the most anticipated roles fans are waiting to see from her is if there is any truth to her being one of the villains in the movie "Fast & Furious 8."

The untitled film starring Charlize Theron will be directed by Jason Reitman, who have released some very successful films in the past but recently had flops. This could be Jason Reitman's comeback to the film industry.
