'Kingdom Hearts 3' Release Date, News & Update: Title Not Coming Any Time Soon; Four Worlds Confirmed

The third installment of the "Kingdom Hearts" series is one of the anticipated games for years now. Unfortunately, Square Enix is still not done with "Kingdom Hearts 3" and in fact, the title might be delayed again.

"Kingdom Hearts 3" Delayed Again

According to News Everyday, "Kingdom Hearts Unchained X" was rumored to be released on Android and iOS devices for North American users early this month. However, we are already heading into the third week of the month, but the game is still not out. This suggests that "Kingdom Hearts 3" might not be arriving anytime soon because it's expected that "Kingdom Hearts Unchained X" will be released first.

Well, it seems that "Kingdom Hearts 3" is indeed, still away from the finish line. In fact, Design & Trend previously reported that Quinton Flynn, the voice actor for Axel has not started recording yet.

"Speaking of Axel, when is the new Kingdom Hearts going into production? Step it up. Quinton needs to pay his bills!" Quinton Flynn posted in a tweet. One fan even asked him to confirm if he has not done any recording for "Kingdom Hearts 3" and he responded with, "Correct. Not yet."

Confirmed Worlds in "Kingdom Hearts 3"

Meanwhile, The Bitbag reported that the following worlds are confirmed in "Kingdom Hearts 3."

Tangled - The "Kingdom Hearts 3" trailer featured Sora facing a tower. Many believe that Rapunzel is hidden there. One of the great things in "KH3" would be seeing Flynn Rider accompanying Sora and the gang for a mission. What will be their mission? Will they save Rapunzel from the Witch? Well, this is something for gamers to find out in "Kingdom Hearts 3."

Hercules - In the 30-second mark of the "KH3" trailer the world shifts to a fallen building, which is a reminiscent of the Greek structures, suggesting that Hercules may appear in the upcoming title. Hercules and Sora are good friends, so seeing the Demi-God in "Kingdom Hearts 3" will not be a surprise.

Mysterious Tower - In the one-minute mark of the "KH3" clip, Master Yen Sid's home, the Mysterious Tower was featured. Sid has a vital role in "Kingdom Hearts." So, seeing him return in "Kingdom Hearts 3" is not surprising.

Big Hero 6 - Square Enix already confirmed that the adorable Baymax would join "Kingdom Hearts 3." In "KH3" Baymax will be fighting an evil version of himself.
