"Criminal Minds" Season 11 Finale: What's Slade Got To Do With It?

Slade's appearance on the show will start in this week's episode of "Criminal Minds" as the BAU questions her regarding a serial killer. However, her story arc will run up to a few more episodes leading up to the end.

"Criminal Minds" Season 11 Finale Renewal Chances

Moore, who plays Derek Morgan, has been in discussions about leaving "Criminal Minds" since last year and his send-off story was planned properly. "Derek is walking away because there's a part of his life that's missing and that he has an opportunity and he risks that every day," said the Moore, per The Hollywood Reporter.

The spot he leaves could potentially rock the balance of the show's dynamics, which fans believe could affect its renewal chances. Meanwhile, Deadline reports that keeping "Criminal Minds" longer would be expensive for CBS, which could be a factor in its renewal.
