It’s a Baby Boy for Melissa George

Actress Melissa George and boyfriend Jean-David Blanc welcomed their first son, Thursday.

Baby Raphaël was born Feb. 6, the 'Good Wife' actress announced on Twitter. ''Welcome to the world! Our beautiful son just born at the American hospital of Paris. 'There are no words to describe the love,' she tweeted.

Melissa expressed her excitement about the baby. "This baby is very wanted and very much what we've been waiting for. It's no secret that I've always wanted to be a mother, and every time I had a birthday I would just be a little bit sad. You don't mind clicking over another number when you've got something inside you, growing, that you've always dreamed about," she told OK!

Melissa, 37, and Jean-David have been dating for nearly two years now. Recently, she also said that she was confident of her beau becoming a great father. ''It's a cliché that when you know, you know, but it was kind of effortless. When I met Jean-David, it just evolved into an extension of our love. It's absolutely the greatest news because we're so right for each other. 'It was love at first sight. We knew, instantly. Everything else went away. Everything went quiet,' she said, reports Contactmusic.

Previously she was married to Chilean director Claudio Dabed for 11 years. They divorced in 2011. She also said that she was planning to marry Jean-David in the near future. ''I'd (get married) again in a heartbeat. I don't think 'because it didn't work out the first time, it won't work out.' When you have a baby together, it's something that would be an extension.''
