"19 Kids and Counting" star Jessa Duggar Sewald opened up about her parenting style and said that she won't be following the footsteps of her parents, Michelle, and Jim Bob Duggar when it comes to it. The reality star said she would want to raise her kids differently starting with her firstborn son, Spurgeon.

Us Weekly shared Jessa Duggar Sewald's thoughts about her parenting style and how she plans to not do the same thing that her parents did to all 19 of them. However, there is one thing that she would pattern from her folks and that is having a big family.

According to The Inquisitr, Jessa Duggar plans to have more than one kid and would even go for adopting another one in the future. Although raising a big family is something that she would copy from her parents, she made it sure that her style of raising her kids would be far from how she was brought up. She can't say much about it as of the moment since Spurgeon is still small, but she said eventually, she will find a way to raise him differently from her mom's style.

You would think that Michelle Duggar would be offended by her daughter's decision, but she was even supporting of how Jessa plans to take care of her family. "That's the beauty of the individual family. No one is identical," Jessa Duggar Sewald explained. "There will be variations with little things here and there, but I know that our foundational goals remain the same - to raise our kids to love God and be a blessing to others."

With regards on the subject of courtship and waiting for marriage before getting intimate, Jessa didn't comment about it. She and her husband, Ben Sewald did wait to get married to even have their first kiss.

Do you think Jessa Duggar Sewald would apply that same principle to her kids? Tell us what you think in the comments below.
