Prince Overdose A Hoax? Assistant Says 'Purple Rain' Singer Healthy, Addiction Allegations On Same Drug As Michael Jackson Suggests Foul Play?

Music legend Prince has been linked by numerous reports to dependence and overdose on the same drug that caused Michael Jackson's death. Former assistant Mariah Brown stated that the "Purple Rain" singer's death did not make sense as Prince did not take pills.

According to Perez Hilton, Mariah Brown worked with Prince until 2015. Mariah Brown said that Prince was not in the habit of using pills. In fact, Prince was very healthy and in great shape before his death.

"He was a very, very healthy person. ... That man has more energy than me, and anyone I know," Mariah Brown stated. "The whole death didn't make sense to me. ... He never came across as sick, or anything like that."

Mariah Brown's statement contradicted allegations that Prince was addicted to Percocet for a long time. Singers Room pointed out a fact that supported Mariah Brown's claim: Prince was not only famously known for his music and art but also for being health-conscious. Prince took great care of what he put into his body, which was why he was vegan.

Interestingly, The Mirror reports that Prince needed treatment for the same drug that killed Michael Jackson. Some to this day maintain that Michael Jackson's death was not as straightforward as self-administered overdose on Percocet.

Are the deaths of Prince and Michael Jackson linked in some way? Was Prince a victim of foul play? Prince and Michael Jackson were similar in that they were both geniuses but they were both outsiders in the music industry.

Vigilant Citizen points out that reports and allegations surrounding Prince and his death had too many inconsistencies. The media outlet proposes that overdose was too convenient a term to summarize the death of Prince. Whether or not foul play or conspiracies had any role, Prince deserves careful and thorough investigation of his death.
