Anime lovers are excited for the next season of "One Punch Man." At the time, the series is on hiatus, but according to reports, "One Punch Man" season 2 will premiere late this year.

Christian Times reported that "One Punch Man" season 2 is set to return to the small screens at the end of the year. There are rumors that fans will see Saitama's next adventure in October. "One Punch Man" season 2 is expected to give fans another round of action-packed adventures.

'One Punch Man' Season 2 First Episode Leaks

While we are still a few months away from "One Punch Man" season 2, there are already reports about the upcoming season's premiere episode. Cross Map reported that the first episode will be titled, "The Strongest Hero" and it will pick up where it left off.

The report added that "One Punch Man" season 2 would revolve around the Hero Hunter Arc. This arc is about the most powerful villain in the series so far, namely Garou.

"In the manga, Garou was Bang or Silver Fang's former disciple who eventually lost his way. What is particularly interesting is that Garou and Saitama are two sides of the same coin - just people who happen to go far beyond what humans are capable of becoming," HNGN notes.

Saitama To Face Amai Mask And Will Join The Bad Guys

Aside from Garou, there are rumors that Saitama will be up against Amai Mask in "One Punch Man" season 2. There is already a brewing conflict between the two characters in the first season. Amai Mask, a class A Rank 1 hero blamed Saitama for the destruction of the city. If reports are true, the "One Punch Man" lead star would have to face two villains in the new season.

On a separate note, Parent Herald previously reported that fans would see the dark side of Saitama in "One Man Punch" Season 2. There are rumors that the "One Punch Man" protagonist will find his way on the dark side and join the bad guys.
