George Clooney's ex Stacy Keibler pregnant with first child

This story has been updated to note a change.

George Clooney's ex-girlfriend Stacy Keibler is pregnant with her first child.

Keibler, a former professional wrestler, and her new husband Jared Pobre, CEO of the private interactive firm Future Ads, confirmed the pregnancy.

"More blessings!! We're an elated family-to-be!" the newlyweds told People.

Keibler, 34, took to social media to reveal their happy news with a "punny" photo.

"Look what we've got cooking! A Bun'dle of love!" she wrote on Instagram, captioning a picture of a literal bun in the oven that she was cooking.

Pobre expressed equal anticipation.

"I'm extremely excited about starting a family and building a future with Stacy," Pobre, an Irvine-based tech entrepreneur, further told People.

And the couple's pregnancy glow is obvious.

"They are incredibly happy," says a friend of the baby news. "This is something they have talked about from the beginning."

The blonde-haired, long-legged beauty tied the knot with Pobre, 39, in a surprise, intimate sunset ceremony on a beach in Punta Mita, Mexico on March 8.

"We both felt strongly that our 'love day' should be intimately special, and that's exactly what it was," the couple said in a statement. "It was a blend of romance, tranquility, natural beauty, bonding and overwhelming love."

The pair, who knew each other for five years before officially dating last fall, didn't think that they would ever achieve such bliss.

"Both Jared and I didn't think that we were ever going to get married or have kids... When you meet the right person, everything changes," Keibler explained.

"I'm so excited for the new chapter in my life," she added. "I'm so ready for it. I feel for the first time like I'm really fulfilled and at peace."

Keibler, who is now a TV personality, actress and model, dated Clooney for two years. The two amicably split early last summer.
