Playboy Bunny Secrets: Holly Madison Shares Her Miserable Life Inside The Playboy Mansion

After staying at the Playboy Mansion for almost seven years, Holly Madison shared her thoughts on what is was like to be a Playboy Bunny. Holly Madison dished out that staying at the mansion instilled fear and insecurities.

Upon talking to People, Holly Madison shared that "there was a lot of fear" inside the Playboy Mansion. She shared that staying at the mansion for seven years caused her a lot of struggles. From living in fear and overcoming her insecurities, Ashley Madison revealed her deepest thoughts regarding her life at the Playboy Mansion.

Life In The Playboy Mansion Isn't Really That Nice

"It was a constant struggle," Holly Madison described her life with her ex-boyfriend, Hugh Hefner. "I was trying to sell this image of 'Oh everything is so great here,' but I was miserable inside. The Mansion is all about conformity and judgment and following the rules."

Holly Madison also added that she felt like the Playboy Mansion was not an outlet to boost one's self confidence. One of the things that bothered her the most was the thought of fighting to stay on top of everybody else for her to keep her spot on the mansion.

"I didn't like being a clone," Holly Madison added. That was definitely something that bothered me the whole time. But the Mansion wasn't a place where confidence was built. It was a place where manipulation was used to keep everyone scrambling to keep her spot in the house."

A Happier Life After Leaving The Playboy Mansion

Holly Madison is now happily married to Pasquale Rotella with a daughter, Rainbow who is now three. She is currently pregnant with a baby boy. Holly Madison wrote her memoire and narrated her Playboy Mansion experience on her book, "Down the Rabbit Hole: Curious Adventures and Cautionary Tales of a Former Playboy Bunny.

Though Holly Madison aimed to make her tell all book one of the biggest link to the inside world of a Playboy bunny, it was slammed by Hugh Hefner. During his interview with US Weekly, Hugh Hefner shared that he respected Holly Madison during her stay at the mansion.

"Sadly, there are a few who have chosen to rewrite history in an attempt to stay in the spotlight," Hugh Hefner said. "I guess, as the old saying goes: You can't win 'em all!"
