Dylan O'Brien Is Still Part Of 'Teen Wolf' Season 6

Parent Herald previously reported that Dylan O'Brien got into an accident while filming "The Maze Runner: The Death Cure." Due to the said accident, Fox postponed its production.

"Production is postponed but certainly not cancelled. All that matters now is that Dylan recovers," James Dashner, author of the "Maze Runner" said. "We love you, Dylan!!!"

Following O'Brien's accident, there are rumors that he might not join "Teen Wolf" season 6. Dylan O'Brien plays a significant character in MTV's "Teen Wolf." He is Stiles, the best friend of the main protagonist Scott McCall (Tyler Posey).

However, fans should not worry because "Teen Wolf" executive producer Jeff Davis already confirmed that he is still part of the show. There will be no other Stiles but Dylan O'Brien in "Teen Wolf" season 6.

"We aren't replacing Stiles," Davis told Creative 132. "Dylan O'Brien will be back to film soon [but] he can't do any stunts. We're talking with Wes Ball, the producer of 'The Maze Runner,' [and] we hope to get him back on 'Teen Wolf 'to film, while being injured. But the thing is he wants to film. He's in perfect condition, but he's just not doing fine enough to do any stunts."

O'Brien's Injury May Delay 'Teen Wolf' Season 6

Davis admitted that if Wes decides not to risk anything, "Teen Wolf" season 6 production will be delayed until Dylan O'Brien is in perfect condition to film again. The actor's publicist, Jennifer Allen announced, "His injuries are very serious, and he needs more time to recover."

MTV has not announced any official air date for "Teen Wolf" Season 6. However, per GameNGuide, fans believe that their favorite show will return in June.
