Life After Death: British Scientists’ Groundbreaking Study Reveals Answer To The Greatest Question In The History Of Mankind

There is life after death, according to a groundbreaking study by a team of British scientists. They discovered that consciousness may continue even if a person has already died. Significantly, one man, who was involved in the study, claimed that he has an out-of-body experience after being declared clinically dead.

A Scientific Study About Life After Death

The issue about the existence of life after death used to be exclusively discussed in the fields of religion, theology or pseudoscience. But a team of researchers from the University of Southampton decided to uncover the truth behind the longstanding belief by conducting a large-scale scientific study that involved 2,060 patients from Austria, the U.S. and the U.K. These patients are people who had all survived cardiac arrest.

"Contrary to perception, death is not a specific moment but a potentially reversible process that occurs after any severe illness or accident causes the heart, lungs and brain to cease functioning," Dr. Sam Parnia, lead researcher, told Express UK. "If attempts are made to reverse this process, it is referred to as 'cardiac arrest'; however, if these attempts do not succeed it is called 'death.'"

The British scientists interviewed the patients who were revived after being pronounced clinically dead. They found that 40 percent of them claimed they had some form of consciousness after being declared clinically dead, while almost 50 percent said that they felt fear.

The Significant Discovery That Confirmed There Is Life After Death

According to the Inquisitr, the study's most noteworthy discovery that proved there is life after death was the testimony of 57-year-old man who confirmed that he has an out-of-body experience after being declared clinically dead. The man was able to accurately recall what happened around him while he was temporarily dead.

"This is paradoxical, since the brain typically ceases functioning within 20-30 seconds of the heart stopping and doesn't resume again until the heart has been restarted," Dr. Parnia explained. "Furthermore, the detailed recollections of visual awareness in this case were consistent with verified events."
