Things are getting rough for the Browns after Meri Brown's catfishing scandal. According to "Sister Wives" rumors, the head of the family, Kody Brown wants another wife and he wants his fifth partner to be young and thin.

'Sister Wives' Star Kody Brown Determined To Have Another Wife

According to reports, Kody Brown has gone through a lot in the past weeks as shown in "Sister Wives." In light of this issue, he is planning to branch out by looking for an additional wife that is different from his four wives now and he is already hunting for her.

"He's definitely seeking another wife," a source close to the family told Life & Style. "He's been looking for more than a year. He's wanted someone really young, like 19 or 20. And she has to be attractive and thin."

New Woman Will Just Make The Matter Worse

However, adding a new woman in the family will not make things better for the "Sister Wives" stars. Per the Hollywood Gossip, Kody Brown's current wives, Meri, Janelle, Christine and Robyn are not in good terms. All four are "miserable" and their frustrations will only intensify if another woman joins them.

Meanwhile, Master Herald  reported that Meri and Janelle were trying their best to be at peace as shown in "Season Wives" Season 7 Episode 3. In the second episode, both went to a therapist and admitted their tension. Meri admitted that they have a good sister-wife relationship, but they lack deep friendship.

Meri Brown Defends Herself On The Catfishing Scandal

Meanwhile, Meri Brown was bashed by "Sister Wives" fans following the catfishing scandal. Brown admitted to having an online affair with a woman who posed as a man. It turned out that the man on the other side was a woman catfisher named Jacquelyn 'Jackie' Overton. She wrote a book titled "Almost Meri'd" which narrated her relationship with the reality TV star.

The controversy was heartbreaking to Kody and Meri. Meri admitted that she was angry with Kody, while the latter stressed that he understood her.

"You didn't want to be out of the family, you just wanted to be out of your relationship with me," Kody said in one of the "Sister Wives" Season 7 episode, per Radar Online.

Following the scandal, Meri posted several cryptic tweets stressing that she is Overton's victim. You can read some of her tweets below.

The "Sister Wives" star Meri also stressed that the new special on TLC titled "Catching A Catfisher" is not about her. She stressed that its for the audiences' safety.
