Will Sheldon And Amy get Married on 'The Big Bang Theory' Season 10? Upcoming Installment Rumored to be the Last

The Big Bang Theory Season 10 will be coming back to your TV screens sometime this September 2016 and fans are wondering whether or not Amy and Sheldon will be tying the knot since their good friend Leonard and Penny had a second wedding ceremony so their family and friends could witness it.

Gack Hollywood reported that in the Season 9 finale of The Big Bang Theory, entitled The Convergence Convergence, Penny and Leonard decided to have another ceremony of their marriage in front of the parents and friends. The two got married in Las Vegas earlier and no one was there physically to witness their exchange of vows. Their friends, however, got to see it via a telecast.

In the last episode of Season 9, viewers were able to see the parents of Leonard, Beverly and Alfred. However, the two started to argue. The parents of Leonard separated in the past as his father was caught by his mother cheating on her with another woman. It also is not a great reunion as Sheldon's mother, Mary, was invited and she and Beverly do not get along very well since they have different beliefs. Mary is very religious while Beverly is a psychologist.

Another odd bonding at the season 9 finale of The Big Bang Theory is that Mary and Alfred bonded over their dislike of Beverly. They also went home ahead of everyone from the dinner since they both stay at the same hotel.

Amid all the chaos, Penny and Leonard will still push through with their second wedding ceremony this coming Season 10. Many are speculating that Sheldon might get down to one knee as he and Amy have become all the more close in Season 9 after their break-up in the Season 8 finale. Also, fans will probably see Bernadette and Howard welcoming their first child together.

Rumors have also surfaced claiming that The Big Bang Theory Season 10 will be the last installment of the CBS show. Showrunner Steve Molaro said in a statement back in December 2015 that Season 10 in reality is the ending point of the show adding, "I don't know and all I can do right now is go episode to episode and try to make each one the best that we can." No confirmation has been released about this matter yet.

The Big Bang Theory Season 10's first episode is set to air in September and is expected to run through May 2017.
