Rare Sighting: Florida Mom And Kidnapper Play Tug Of War, Pulling 13-Year Old Daughter From Arms To Feet [WATCH]

Making its rounds on the Internet is a video starring an unusual show of heroism. Mothers can really do anything for their children and this Florida mom proves that she is not afraid of anything to save her child's life.

She rescues her 13-year old daughter from a kidnapper who was about to abduct her beloved girl when they were grocery shopping at Dollar General Store in Citrus County (via Tampa Bay Times). What caught the interest of many is how she displayed her heroic act----through a classic match of Tug and War, only this time the terms were not friendly.

While it sounds amusing, the kidnapping attempt is far from entertaining. The long-haired kidnapper caught on CCTV camera aggressively grabbed the young girl's hands whose body fell into the floor while the terrified mother pulled her daughter's feet.

The kidnapper conceded and let go of the girl before he ran out of the store. An off-duty deputy, Jonathan Behnen, was just arriving at the crime scene when he was signalled to stop the running suspect. Fortunately, he was able to do so and the kidnapper, identified Craig Bonello, is now in custody after the attempted abduction (via New York Daily News).

Apparently, Craig Bonello has been arrested multiple times in Citrus County but not for serious cases. This time he is facing child abuse and kidnapping charges with an attempt to commit felony (via Tampa Bay Times).

The mother and daughter, whose names were not released, did not know Bonello at all. Bonello also claimed not knowing the victims but did not say anything as to why he tried kidnapping the girl in front of many witnesses.

"In my 10 years on the road, I have never seen anything like this," said Sergeant Craig Callahan in a release as per Tampa Bay Times.

"It's just sad that this has happened, because this is not the kid who grew up with my kids. He needs to talk to some psychiatrists and find out what the issue is," uncle of the suspect, Tony Bonello said in a phone call from NBC News.
