"Penny Dreadful" Season 3 finale spoilers reveal that Ethan (Josh Hartnett) will go back to London together with Sir Malcolm (Timothy Dalton) to search for Frankenstein (Rory Kinnear) in an episode titled "Perpetual Night." According to TV Guide, Lily will also share a "heartbreaking story" about Brona Croft (Billie Piper).

Meanwhile, the synopsis for the second of the two-part finale episode of "Penny Dreadful" Season 3 was not provided. Fans speculate that there may be something exciting about the last finale, which is why Showtime is keeping the synopsis under wraps.

The promo for "Penny Dreadful" Season 3 finale, however, hinted at the show's possible renewal for another season. There have been talks that the Eva Green-led series may be canceled because of the average ratings throughout the entire season.

Carter Matt notes that "Penny Dreadful" Season 3 renewal news usually comes out in June. Renewal last year was given just before the finale episode for Season 2 aired on TV.

"Penny Dreadful" Season 3 has only received a 0.2 rating in the 18-49 demographic, which is not as stellar as other shows. However, fans continue to insist that the series is one of the best shows on TV and Showtime will be making a grave mistake if they cancel this drama after Season 3.

Fans have yet to see Ethan rescue Vanessa (Eva Green) from Dracula in "Penny Dreadful" Season 3. There are also a lot more for the show to explore should it be renewed for another season on TV.
