Boy With Autism Missing In Duncan, Family Members Are In Need Of Your Help

Duncan, Oklahoma - An 8-year-old boy was missing since early Sunday morning. He was last seen at 2 am. Wearing captain America's pajamas and glasses. Their address is 1400 Block of North 7th Street.

Damion Davidson, the boy's name is autistic and it worried his family that he still has not been found. There was a heavy downpour of rain during that time and there was flooding in the area. The boy does not know how to swim so that is another major concern.

It was reported from KFor.com that it was his mother who checked him out during midnight and he was tucked into bed. Kathy Davidson, the boy's aunt said, "My greatest hope is to find my nephew safe and bring him home safely."

He was said to have unlocked the door by pushing the chair over to the door in order to reach the deadbolt. His family now is very concerned and very worried.

Many of their neighbors have joined in to try and find Damion. It included the fire department and hundreds of people more. Because he is small, the people looking out for him would turn up garbage cans and just everywhere. The family is grateful for the community support they have been receiving.

"When we put this out, I mean unbelievable I got text messages, Facebooking," Kathy, Damion's mom said. The effort was enormous coming from people who are not even their family members. They couldn't thank them enough.

Elopement is one of the characteristics present in persons and children with autism. It sometimes happens when a child is experiencing sensory overload, wanting to get away from the situation they are in at the moment, trying to look for a place where they can calm down.

At this point in time, Damion has not yet been found. If you see him, the best way to get his attention is to approach him and call the authorities.
