Indian Man Died Inside Theater While Watching 'The Conjuring 2', Body Reportedly Disappeared

An Indian man reportedly died while watching "The Conjuring 2" and many reports are claiming that his body disappeared.

The incident took place in Tiruvannamalai, which is a small town in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. According to Express, the man complained of having heart pains. He then fainted near the climax of the movie.

Many are claiming that the man's body disappeared but it is believed that the person handling the cadaver escaped together with the body. The identity of the man has not been released yet.

The man was said to have been rushed from the Sri Balasubramaniar Cinema to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead. His body was said to have been ordered by the doctors to be sent to the Tiruvannamalai Government Medical College Hospital for a post-mortem examination when the cadaver and the person responsible to deliver the corpse have disappeared.

It remains unclear if the reports about the disappearance are true.

The movie is based on supernatural events in a council house in Enfield, London. It was released in theaters worldwide earlier this month and is a sequel to the 2013 original film that starred Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga. They played the roles of paranormal investigators who documented the murders in Amityville back in 1976. The two then traveled to London to investigate the reports about a family possessed by spirits.

"The Conjuring 2" has been on the spotlight as many are saying that the flick is spookier and scarier than the first. Others even claimed that they also felt paranormal experiences after watching the movie.

In one instance, a moviegoer named Damian Ng Yik Leong took to Facebook to post a photo of a crucifix shape that appeared on the hotel bathroom where he and his girlfriend have been staying after they watched the movie. He said in his post that he and his girlfriend went back to their hotel room at around 2:30 A.M. At 2:45 A.M., his girlfriend decided to go to the bathroom and brush her teeth. She then came running out of the room assuming that her boyfriend played a prank on her.

The post also read, "It was freshly drawn, as I could see water creeping down on one side of the cross, and the stain is still fresh."
