‘ARK: Survival Evolved’ V243 PC Patch Latest News & Updates: New PC Update Disappointing ‘ARK’ Fans? Studio Wildcard Explains Why New Giant Dino Is Not Tamable As Others

Following the confirmation of "ARK: Survival Evolved" full release later this year at the E3 2016 event in Los Angeles last week, Studio Wildcard launched the game's version 243 PC patch. Even though the latest patch brought some interesting and exciting changes, some fans were disappointed and criticized the game.

Why 'ARK: Survival Evolved' V243 PC Patch Disappointed 'ARK' Fans

Despite the series of exciting changes brought by "ARK: Survival Evolved" v243 PC patch, some "ARK" fans were reportedly disappointed. The reason? Fans discovered that the new dinosaur in the game, Titanosaur, can't be tamed in the same way as the other dinos in the "ARK" realm, Daily Express notes.

Studio Wildcard, however, explained that the Titanosaur is a "limited tame" in "ARK: Survival Evolved." The game developer also revealed the reason why they had implemented such process, noting the cost of the "platformed dino" in the game.

"It's not difficult to see that the thing that has received the most criticism about the Titano is the fact that it is a 'limited' tame in the sense that it will starve (you're able to flip this on Unofficial Servers with a commandline param) to death, regardless of your attempts to prevent it from doing so and that there are a limited amount on the server," Studio Wildcard posted on Reddit.
