‘Street Fighter 5’ Upcoming Massive Content Update To Bring Highly Anticipated 6-Hour Story Mode, Ibuki And Balrog Soon?

Good news, "Street Fighter 5" fans! Capcom will be releasing a massive content update this Friday, Jul. 1. The upcoming update will reportedly be launched on PS4 and PC platforms.

Following the highly anticipated release of "Street Fighter 5" in February, the game quickly attracted tons of criticisms due to insufficient in-game content. Fortunately, Capcom was promptly addressed the issues by launching a series of much-needed updates into the game, just like the major "Street Fighter 5" DLC patch on Apr. 28.

'Street Fighter 5' Latest Content Update

The upcoming "Street Fighter 5" massive content update will definitely bring some exciting additions into the game. According to Mashable Asia, the latest update will bring new costumes and changes, a six-hour Story Mode DLC and Ibuki as a playable character. These features will come free for all PS4 and PC owners.

Balrog Coming In 'Street Fighter 5?'

Even though Capcom already confirmed that Balrog was an upcoming character, many "Street Fighter 5" fans expected his release later this year, along with Urien and Juri. However, the game publisher announced during the "Street Fighter 5" tournament in Florida on Sunday, Jun. 26 that Balrog will be included in the upcoming "Street Fighter 5" content update this Friday.

Balrog's introduction in "Street Fighter 5" came after its original scheduled May release was postponed, GameSpot reports. Balrog was originally part of the "Super Street Fighter 4" roster.

Aside from Balrog, the latest "Street Fighter 5" update will also bring Ibuki into the game, iDigitalTimes learns. There were also reports that all the remaining "Street Fighter 5" DLC characters will be playable in the cinematic story expansion. But Juri and Urien will only be available in playable preview forms and not for multiplayer.

"Street Fighter" infamous boxing champ Balrog, on the other hand, will get a full release, Kotaku notes. He will be "Street Fighter V" fourth DLC character, after Alex, Guile and Ibuki.
