International ‘Social Space’ helps parents and parents-to-be connect, learn and grow

Mamazou, a free online social space created in 2014, is helping parents and parents-to-be from across the world to come together so they can share their knowledge, advice and experiences in a safe and respectful space. Mamazou has an international membership including attracting almost 40% of its members from North America.

Parents and parents-to-be are using Mamazou to build friendships, ask questions relating to their parenting issues, offer support to other parents and share their worries and feelings. Mamazou is also a place where parents can be themselves, safe in the knowledge that they will not be judged. Some parents, who may feel isolated in their own communities, are using Mamazou as place of friendship and connection.

Jenny Raymond, founder of Mamazou said, "It has been an amazing journey to watch the Mamazou community grow. My ambition in starting Mamazou was to build a comfortable space online for parents and parents-to-be to chat about their experiences of parenting without feeling judged or overwhelmed. This was something that was very important to me when I became a mother. With Mamazou we have achieved that space."

Mamazou member Jade stated, "Mamazou have really created a lovely community for parents to interact and share experiences. Ever since we moved to California I had been feeling a bit disconnected from everything, missing my friends terribly, but it's been really nice to connect with lovely new people back home. You are doing an amazing job bringing people together!"

Parents can join Mamazou, free of charge, by registering online. Members are then given access to forums, blogs, competitions, groups and enjoy special discounts with premium parenting brands.
