Pokemon Go Teen Player Experiences Shock After Finding A Dead Body While Playing Pokemon
A 19-year-old girl from Riverton, Wyoming found a dead body while playing the now popular game, Pokemon Go last July 8. It is a game that is played using a mobile device with a goal of catching all the Pokemon characters.
In an article published by Hollywood Life, Shayla Wiggins, was just playing the new game craze, Pokemon Go, when she encountered a life changing experience while trying to complete the task asked in the game. She was walking by the river when she saw a dead body floating in the water.
According to Buzz Feed News, the teenage girl took a closer look to find out what was it that was floating in front of her and confirmed that it was indeed a dead person. She was in shock upon seeing the body but was still able to call 911 to report the incident. The 19-year-old was scared and was shaking so bad while she was trying to make a police report. Based on the investigation made by the police in Fremont, they said that the death of the said male was an accident that he could have drowned. No indication of foul play was found so far since no evidence was also there to form that conclusion.
Pokemon Go has been driving a lot of gamers crazy because of its features that tend to make them go outside. Usually, virtual games would make you stay indoors, but not this one. It will make you explore the outdoors and apparently, even report dead bodies in a nearby river should you find one with the help of the gaming app.
