'Pokemon GO' News: Niantic Game's Monster Hunters Invade Area 51?

"Pokemon GO," the new mobile app from Niantic has only been available for a few days but its clearly set to be one of the phenomena of the year. The success of "Pokemon GO" has boosted Nintendo's share prices by 50% .

Thanks to "Pokemon GO," earnings are well over a million dollars every day through micro transactions. Since the game's release abundant reports are revealing plenty of people doing weird things because of the phenomenon that is "Pokemon GO" as reported on Parent Herald.

Naturally, it was only a matter of time before "Pokemon GO" players would try to invade usually restricted spaces. "Pokemon GO" turned a highly secure top secret United States military base into a hunter's destination.

New "Pokemon GO" hangout, Area 51, is the top secret military base that everyone knows is not supposed to be known about. Area 51 has been at the center of conspiracy theories for decades.

Understandable considering how everyone knows where Area 51 is located. Perhaps what makes Area 51 perfect for Pokemon hunters is that no one knows what goes on there.

Area 51 theories range from UFOs, super space age advanced weaponry, aliens or - according to Indiana Jones - the Ark of the Covenant. Possibly some new kind of alien hybrid Pokemon could be found in Area 51?

A few Pokemon hunters decided to travel to the Nevada desert to see what monster they could find at Area 51. As reported by Kotaku the hunters at Fraghero found empty gyms, insinuating that the soldier/aliens/lizards at Area 51 don't play "Pokemon GO." Proof that they are from another world.

Ryan McGee and Matt Watson from YouTube channel SuperMega also have decided to venture toward Area 51 to find Pokemon but found their connection went offline as soon as they started hunting. This "Pokemon GO" block must mean that they really are using alien technology in Area 51:

When they got there it wouldn't be an understatement to say that the guards weren't interested in playing games, even "Pokemon GO." Unsurprising considering Area 51 IS a secret military base.
