'Pokemon GO' Easter Eggs Ditto Theories: 'Pokemon Snap' Strategy, Renaming Pickachu Could Help Capture Ditto?

Since the release of "Pokemon GO" in different parts of the globe, fans have been scouring the internet for "Pokemon GO" easter eggs. While these tips prove to be helpful for some, fans have yet to discover how to capture Ditto.

As a Reddit forum suggests, Ditto is the only non-legendary Pokemon no one has ever captured yet. With many trying to get first dibs on Ditto, "Pokemon GO" easter eggs provide some interesting Ditto theories that could lead players closer to capturing the highly coveted Pokemon.

"Ditto in the game Pokemon Snap is disguised as a bulbasaur," user validproof posted. "We might have to switch to the camera view when we encounter bulbasaur and attempt to take a picture of him, similar to the game Pokemon Snap."

"Ditto makes it's first appearance in the episode 'Ditto's Mysterious Mansion' as a Pikachu. What is interesting is that he is unable to fully transform in the beginning, and so it says 'Pikacha'/'Pikachan'. I believe there may be something related to this, and will try to rename pikachu to these."

Another Reddit user offered another interesting "Pokemon GO" easter egg/ Ditto theory, saying "Maybe ditto has something to do with weight and height of a pokemon then." While another claimed, "What if the secret to ditto is not with the pokemon we already have, as they all are already in a ball."

"According to this, an in-game lore reference, returning to the ball will cause a ditto to return to ditto form," user Fr0thBeard continued. "I believe it's something we must do elsewhere, like perhaps make them laugh. Now, how to do that?"

Apart from the "Pokemon GO" easter eggs focusing on Ditto, other theories suggest that Chansey can be found in pharmacies, clinics and hospitals. As Twinfinite noted, apart from collecting and hatching 10km eggs, there is a higher chance of spotting the "motherly" and caring pokemon in the said locations.
