'Vikings' Season 4 Latest News & Update: Will Ragnar Eventually Confess His True Feelings For Loki?

Ragnar and Floki's will be back for the 4th season of History's "Vikings." It was recently revealed that the 4th season will revolve around the two's relationship. The latest image released by the network shows both Ragnar and Floki together in a pivotal scene.

Ragnar Lothbrok will be making a strong attempt to gather old friends to help him as he returns to England for "Vikings" season 4. Ragnar will be on a mission to confront King Ecbert about the Viking village which he destroyed.

King Ecbert failed to fulfill his promise as he made a pledge to Ragnar that he will protect the small group, yet he was not able to successfully do so. As the story progressed, Floki is one of the people who were there to help him.

Floki and Ragnar's relationship have been a blur as they've both have their challenged all throughout "Vikings." Folki has always been vocal about his love for Ragnar, but Ragnar, on the other hand, does not have the same feelings.

During an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Michael Hirst, the "Vikings" creator told Entertainment Weekly about the image which features Ragnar and Floki. It was mentioned that it was the specific moment when Ragnar opens up his feeling for Floki.

"In this scene, Ragnar says to Floki, 'I love you.' Even now, I'm welling up slightly. It's a huge moment," Michael Hirst stated. "Floki cannot believe it. That is something that comes out of the blue, slightly, but it's what Floki has wanted to hear most of his life."

Hirst then added that Floki is struggling with the changes that he experienced when it comes to his emotions. Floki's flow of emotional storm is said to be a game changer for the series as the major changes due to his emotions caused the storyline to go into a deeper level.
