Jillian Michaels Parenting Secret: Find Out What Keeps Her Sane

Fitness guru, Jillian Michaels, lets fans in on the secret to being cool as a busy mother who spends 12 hours a week without kids! Michaels has balanced her home and personal life perfectly by taking time off for herself every week, according to People magazine.

"With two young children, I had to figure out a way to balance my days," Michaels said. "This way I can spend five to six hours with the kids and work for the other eight hours. If I have any extra time, it goes to the kids."

"Things seem to work out, and it keeps me sane!" she added.

The popular coach in "The Biggest Loser" is a mother to two kids, Lukensia, 5 and Phoenix, who will turn three on May 3.

Michaels will take relief from her parenting duties by shooting a new show, called "Sweat, Inc.," to reportedly start in June.

"Sweat Inc. is a cross between Shark Tank and America's Next Great Restaurant," Michaels shared to People magazine. "The show explores the savvy, grit, guts and glory to make it big in business while unleashing and exposing the most cutting edge, innovative, underground workouts to audiences."

"It's about getting that one shot at making your dreams a reality," she revealed.

Her partner, Heidi Rhoades, and the two kids are off for a vacation in Central America before Sweat starts filming.

Michaels shared her aspirations as a mother once her children grow up. She said, "I love to travel and hope to see more of the world when the kids are older."

The fitness specialist will savor every moment of Heidi's special day soon. She happily revealed, "But for now, we will celebrate my partner's birthday at the end of May with a family trip to Costa Rica. We can't wait!"

Meanwhile, Broadcastingcable.com revealed that E! is in the works of producing a reality show for Michaels and this will be scheduled for January next year. Word is out that the show is to be tentatively titled "Just Jillian." Michaels is reportedly investing efforts in making various exercise regimes accessible in health clubs.

In 2010, Michaels starred in a spin off for "The Biggest Loser" on NBC, called "Losing It with Jillian." She co-hosted "The Doctors" in 2011 and left in 2012.
