McConaughey further shared, that for him and his children, he talks to his kids about their moral choices, The Washington Times reported. He shared, "We like the word residuals in our house. Which choices are going to pay you back later or are going to give you more green lights later on of being the young man or young woman that you want to be?"
McConaughey is a father to three children and he revealed that he is still balancing being a parent and a friend to his three children. He pointed out that he has seen many instances when parents were actually just friends to their children. For him, he wants the role of a parent and a friend to intersect.

She shared that her parenting skills involve having to become something or someone so that she could get through her children. She continued, "I think it's just limitless when you're a parent. There's nothing that you wouldn't do."
