"Outlander" Season 3 spoilers reveal that casting for the role of the adult Lord John Grey is already underway and fans of the Starz drama are already speculating on the actor to play the role. TVLine reported on several actors who may be perfect for the said role.

"Outlander" Season 3 will be based on Diana Gabaldon's third book "Voyager," which will see the adult version of Lord John. Those who have read the books are aware of the fact that Lord John is a closeted gay man who has feelings for Jamie.

The aforementioned publication noted on the possibility that Charlie Hunnam will play the role in "Outlander" Season 3. Hunnam is best known for his role as Jax Teller in the FX series, "Sons of Anarchy."

However, the official "Outlander" Season 3 casting news on Lord John would still have to come from the producers and the network. Carter Matt also reported on the recent update from Sam Heughan regarding the start of production for the upcoming season.

Heughan also teased on the behind-the-scenes photo of the older version of Jamie (Sam Heughan) on Twitter. The Scottish actor previously joked that the older version of his character would need to look fat upon his most-awaited reunion with Claire (Caitriona Balfe)
