Finding a 10k Egg in "Pokémon GO" is an exciting feat. The longer the distance an Egg needs the rarer and more powerful the Pokémon will be. The Pokémon believed to come from a 10k Egg are Onix, Chansey, Hitmonlee, Hitmonchan, Eevee, Mr. Mime, Lapras, Magmar, Omanyte, Kabuto, Aerodactyl, Snorlax, Dratini, Scyther, Jynx, Electabuzz, and Pinsir, Game Rant listed.

Players said 10k Eggs aren't exactly dependent on a trainer's "Pokémon GO" level. Some get them before Level 10, while a Level 17 trainer got eight to ten 10k Eggs to date, according to Heavy.

Other trainers have sadder fates. A "Pokémon GO" player revealed on Reddit that he/she didn't get a single 10k Egg even after reaching Level 26 along with visits to 1,164 PokéStops. Others also reached Level 23 without getting any 10k Egg at all. It seems like getting 10k Eggs is randomly generated, but there might be other factors at play.

"Pokémon GO" players theorized on Reddit that 10k Eggs appear more in unique PokéStops. Redditor EveeNic suggested trainers to visit different PokéStops and moving in loops on repeat for two hours instead of visiting the same ones over and over again. Players get rewarded with an Egg after 10 PokéStops, but it's not guaranteed that the Egg will be a 10k one. Still, there's no harm in trying this trick.

Another trick that "Pokémon GO" trainers use to get more 10k Eggs is using incubators to hatch Eggs. Incubators are given at Level 6, 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30. An incubator can only hatch one Egg at a time, but multiple Eggs can be hatched at the same time via additional incubators, which trainers can purchase in the shop.

Randomly generated 10k Eggs are less likely to appear if the slots in an incubator are all occupied. For instance, Redditor Ozious said using incubators for 10k Eggs only would provide you with one slot available. With this, it can take months before you come across another 10k Egg. Try to use all your incubators on 5k Eggs, a trick that opens up four to five slots for more 10k Eggs.

Some "Pokémon GO" players on Reddit believe that there's a 10 percent drop rate for 10k Eggs. Others, however, think that the drop rate is around seven percent.
