NBA Trade Rumors: J.R. Smith To Miami Heat? The Heat Is Looking For A Possible Sign-and-Trade With The Cavs

The Miami Heat is now looking for a consistent scorer to bring some help on its young roster. The Heat is now trying to acquire J.R. Smith to give them the scoring they need for the vacant position.

The Miami Heat currently in a rebuilding process coming from a contender position, with the departure of LeBron James 2 years ago, following Dwayne Wade leaving to sign with the Chicago Bulls. Pat Riley is now in the tough situation that he now needs to pull any of his core players to lure a good deal to bring J.R. Smith to the Heat.

According to Gospel Herald, the Heat is eyeing J.R. Smith to fill in the vacant seat. The Heat feels like they need J.R. Smith's all-around playing style which they lack right now. With the addition of Dion Waiters and Wayne Ellington, both are backup players and Heat needs a scoring starter. Dragic and Whiteside also express interest to bring in Smith to the Heat thinking that "Smith" would be a nice fit for them.

The Cleveland Cavaliers haven't made any move with regards to J.R. Smith's contract, but "Smith" is expecting that he is not going elsewhere reported by the FearTheSword. J.R. Smith once said that whatever happens to his contract or if a trade would be made, everything will be fine for him.
