Charlize Theron & Sean Penn's Wedding Looming After Months of Dating? Actress Open to Pregnancy

After dating for 18 months, Hollywood hotshots Charlize Theron and Sean Penn are rumored to be planning their wedding in South Africa, the actress' home country. The couple have allegedly picked August 7 as their wedding date to coincide with Theron's 40th birthday.

"They are going to slip away to South Africa and get married in August, probably on Charlize's birthday. It'll be a small affair, very intimate in Johannesburg, which is Charlize's home town," said a source who spoke with Daily Star.

The date they reportedly chose is also close to Penn's birthday, who will turn 55 this coming August 17. The couple were reportedly engaged back in July 2014. Despite no official announcements from their camps, the actress was seen wearing an engagement ring on her finger, according to Inquisitr.

This will be the first marriage for Charlize Theron, should the rumors be proven true, while it will be Sean Penn's third, after Madonna, whom he married in 1985, and Robin Wright, whom he married in 1996.

Theron and Penn have only been romantic for a short time but they have known each other for more than two decades. They met during the filming of "The Last Face," which also marked the first time they worked together. The film was shot in South Africa and also stars Javier Bardem.

Meanwhile, in a recent press interview to promote her upcoming movie "Mad Max: Fury Road," the actress admits that she's considering giving her adopted son, Jackson, a sibling. Theron adopted the boy back in 2012 and is now 3 years old.

"Yeah. I mean, I'm so open to anything in my life. I was never like, 'Oh god no just one.' I was always kind of open to whatever kind of happens," said the actress in an interview with Extra, when pressed about expanding her family with her fiancé.

As for Penn, he is already a father to adults Dylan and Hopper from his marriage to Wright but raising a new baby could be in his plans as well. After all, he considers a possible marriage to Theron as a "first marriage."

"You say I've been married twice before, but I've been married under circumstances where I was less informed than I am today. So I wouldn't even consider it a third marriage, I'd consider it a first marriage on its own terms if I got married again," said the actor in a previous interview with US Magazine.
