‘Pokémon GO’ Tips & Tricks On Catching & Evolving Powerful Pokémon Slowbro, Vaporeon & Venusaur

Being a "Pokémon GO" trainer doesn't stop at catching and evolving Pokémon. Players need to display their skills and strategies by going into battles in PokéGyms and taking over them. This feat requires strong Pokémon such as Slowbro, Vaporeon, and Venusaur.

Slowbro, Vaporeon, and Venusaur all belong on The Silph Road's 15 strongest Pokémon out of the 151 existing Pokémon in the game. So if you want to succeed in battles, you should at least own a few of these Pokémon. Getting them may be hard and requires lots of effort, but it's undoubtedly rewarding in the end.

Venusaur has a defense stat of 200, attack level of 198, and stamina level of 160, according to the "Pokémon GO" database. Trainers may have an easy time getting the Grass/Poison Type Pokémon's unevolved form, Bulbasaur, but the same cannot be said for Venusaur. The plant-like Pokémon's final evolution is one of the rarest creatures in the game.

Bulbasaur evolves into its second form, Ivysaur, with 25 Pokémon Candies. Evolving Ivysaur into Venusaur, meanwhile, requires 100 Candies, according to the "Pokémon GO" database. Bulbasaur is found in wetland places such as ponds, lakes, marshes, and sometimes in industrial city areas and big buildings, VG 24/7 reported.

Slowbro is a Water/Psychic Type Pokémon that evolves from SlowPoké. Slowbro has a 198 defense level, 184 attack, and 190 stamina.

Slowbro needs 50 Candies to evolve from SlowPoké, which is usually found near bodies of water including rivers, lakes, streams, beaches, and harbors. It's safe to assume that Slowbro can be caught in these areas too, but that could be hard. Evolving a SlowPoké is your best option to get Slowbro.

Vaporeon is one of Eevee's more powerful elemental evolutions or Eeveelutions. Vaporeon ranks 12th on The Silph Road's 15th strongest Pokémon with its 186 attack level, 168 defense, and 260 stamina. Vaporeon can control water and its fins and gills allow it to live underwater, the "Pokémon GO" database noted.

Eevee evolves into Vaporeon, Jolteon, or Flareon randomly if "Pokémon GO" trainers didn't interfere, but it can transform into a specific evolution of your liking through a trick. According to Eurogamer, you can evolve Eevee into Vaporeon by renaming it as Rainer, into the Electric Type Jolteon with the name Sparky, and into the Fire Type Flareon by renaming it as Pyro.

Evolving Eevee requires 25 Candies. Eevee is a Normal Type Pokémon so it's easy to spot it almost anywhere.
