Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie Latest News: New Orleans Home Now For Sale

Hollywood power couple, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, are selling their New Orleans home for $6.5 million, disclosed an article in US Magazine. Brad and Angelina reportedly bought the Louisiana home for $3.5 million in 2006.

The two have been loyal devotees to New Orleans since hurricane Katrina hit the city in 2005. "They [Brad and Angelina] remain committed to, and infatuated as ever with the city of New Orleans, and will continue to focus on growth in the lower 9th through the Make It Right Foundation," Brad's rep revealed to TMZ exclusively.

In 2007, Brad started "Make It Right." The organization seeks to provide homes for those in dire need of shelter. Variety described the New Orleans home Brad and his wife are putting up for sale as "finely finished with Venetian plaster walls [and] custom-designed marble mantels and fireplaces."

Mr. and Mrs. Pitt own homes in multiple locations around the world. These places include Chateau Miraval, France, The Los Feliz neighborhood in Los Angeles, and an apartment unit in New York City.

Meanwhile, an article in Time.com reported that Angie's self-directed film, "By the Sea," is scheduled for a release on November 13. Angelina and Brad will star in the film.

Jolie revealed that the film "is a story about a relationship derailed by loss, the tenacity of love, and the path to recovery and acceptance." She added, "It has been a privilege to explore these universal human experiences with such a generous and talented cast and crew."

Universal Pictures chairman, Donna Langley, commends Brad and Angie for starring in the film. She said, "Angie and Brad have created an intimate gem of a film that will surprise people and delivers an experience they might not expect from them."

She shared, "Universal is honored to market and distribute it to audiences around the world."

Angie's first film directorial project was 2014's "Unbroken."

Angie and Brad last acted together in "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" in 2005, according to International Business Times UK. The couple met on set on the said film. After meeting, Brad and then-wife, Jennifer Aniston, separated, and subsequently, divorced. Brad and Angelina started dating thereafter. Angelina used to be married to actors, Jonny Lee Miller and Billy Bob Thornton.

The actress-director shares six kids with her actor-husband, namely, Maddox, Zahara, Pax, twins, Knox and Vivienne, and Shiloh. The couple married in August 2014.
