'Beauty and the Beast' Latest News: See Emma Watson's Human Prince, Gaston, Lumiere & Cogsworth Also Teased In Photos

Disney's live-action "Beauty and the Beast" starring Emma Watson is really bent on putting the animated film to life. Based on the newest photo release of the prince (Dan Stevens) in his human form, every bit of the magic follows exactly how it is in the original cartoons. Photos of Gaston (Luke Evans), Lumiere (Ewan McGregor) & Cogsworth (Ian McKellen) were also released.

The photos from "Beauty and the Beast" were revealed by producer Jack Morrisey, who apparently kept a documentation of the film on his Facebook. But the album has since been taken down. Morrisey mentioned that many of these behind-the-scenes images are actually featured in the newest DVD/Blu-Ray release of the "Beauty & the Beast" animation in celebration of its 25th anniversary. The images include Gaston's big song number at the pub and Lumiere & Cogsworth costume idea.

As lovers of the classic animation know, the Beast won't turn into his human form until the end of the movie. But the photo showing Dan Stevens as the Beast-turned-human also made its way in Morrisey's documentation. Many have commented that he looks every bit the prince that was drawn in the cartoons, with the same hairstyle and shirt with puffy sleeves, per Vanity Fair.

"Beauty & the Beast" won't be in theaters until March 17, 2017, but it is undoubtedly already a highly anticipated movie. Fans will once again get to hear the same songs as the animation, with the cast singing the lyrics this time around.

Aside from Emma Watson and the cast already mentioned, "Beauty and the Beast" also stars Josh Gad, Kevin Kline, Emma Thompson and Gugu Mbatha-Raw. Bill Condon directed the live action movie.

The animation of "Beauty and the Beast" set the bar high for Disney when it became the first cartoon film to ever earn a Best Picture nomination at the Oscar Awards in 1991. Filming for the live action "Beauty and the Beast" took place in May 2015 and wrapped up in a matter of three months. Many of the elements will be infused with CGI to exude the same movie magic as the original animation.
